The quote by Dr. Parker, "we ought to make every moment count, because it may be the last." means to me, is that you have on chance to live life and why not live it doing everything that you wanted. There is no going back and changing things that you have done in the past. The reason for this is if you could go back and change things that you did wrong you would not have the same out come to what happen the first time. You should not be afraid to take chances and suffer the consequences. Life is full of surprises whether it is bad or good it will happen. If we live life by routine then life get boring. You need to try and do everything that you have wanted to do with no worries. Sure you may get in trouble for some of the things you do but make them count and last as one of your best memories. There is only on chance and you have to live that chance to the fullest. The end part of this quote when it says "because it maybe the last" means it maybe the last time you ever get to do anything. It is saying that you can either go out fighting or just lie down and give up and let your life have no meaning. This could be your last minutes on earth, how would you like to remember your life? For me i would like to remember it as everything i did was the best that i could do and have no regrets for what i did. There maybe somethings that you don't want to remember, but without those events happening you would not be the best you can be today. So why not just let life take its course do the things you always wanted to do. Have fun don't get sucked into having to work all the time and be on a routine schedule. Get work done and go have fun don't just waste your life and let it pass you by take advantage of the time you have on earth now cause it will soon be at an end. So when you die and you are six feet under you can take that long sleep dreaming of all the moments that you lived and made count
